The root cause of high exhaust emission of diesel generator set

If the piston ring or cylinder liner of the diesel generator set is seriously worn, resulting in poor sealing between the piston and cylinder liner, during the compression and expansion of the diesel generator set, a large amount of compressed gas will enter the crankcase through the small gap between the piston ring and cylinder liner, causing the exhaust gas pressure in the crankcase to rise.
Although the piston ring of the diesel generator set is not damaged, if all the openings of the piston ring are aligned, a large amount of high-pressure gas in the compression and expansion steps will enter the crankcase, causing the exhaust pressure of the headstock to rise.
Adhesion, fracture or loss of elasticity of the piston ring of the diesel generator set will cause the cylinder seal to become loose, and the combustion gas will flow downward into the crankcase, which will greatly increase the exhaust gas pressure of the headstock.
1. Respirator membrane or (respirator) piston accident. If the breather film or (breather) piston fails, the crankcase will lose its balance with the atmosphere, resulting in increased exhaust emissions from the crankcase under the effect of internal and external pressure differences.
2. Blocking of ventilator and air balance micro vent: Blocking of ventilator and air balance micro vent will cause imbalance between the headstock and the atmosphere. Similarly, under the effect of the internal and external pressure difference, the exhaust volume of the crankcase will also increase.
Too much oil will increase the pressure of crankcase exhaust. This is because the space in the spindle box is limited and too much oil is added. High speed moving parts such as the crankshaft connecting rod of the diesel generator set will seriously impact the engine oil, making the engine oil splash into the oil mist, causing the crankcase exhaust pressure to rise.
